Auto-login

1. Auto-login
If you have your own machine that is in a secure place, you may wish to auto-login whenever the machine is started.

One way to do this is as follows.

2. Auto-login
Click in the upper right corner and select the settings icon.

Select "Details", then "Users". Find your user profile. If this is your own machine, it should be the only profile.

Select "Unlock" and provide your password.

Under "Automatic Login" select "ON".

3. Blank screen
Note that when the screen blanks, you will be asked to provide your password to restore the screen. This can be annoying.

One way to avoid this is to never have the screen blank.

Under "Settings", select "Power", under "Blank screen" select "Never".

4. End of page
